The piano has AUX-in port where you can connect a device with a line output such as a mobile device, a computer or a mixer so as to hear yourself play along with the song.

Master EQ

The EQ helps you to optimize the sounds with different EQ settings on the instruments so as to provide you with optimal sound in different listening situations.

Yamaha Education Suite Lesson functions

The Yamaha education suite lesson function present in the Yamaha PSRE343 61-key portable keyboard enables you to practice at your individual level for different songs by continually adjusting the playback of the selected song to the tempo of the player’s performance. The “Keys to Success” on the other hand allow you to practice preset songs, using more advanced lesson functions. You can practice single parts of the selected song step by step. Alternatively, you can practice playing the correct notes and the timing of these notes separately with the help of the “Keys to Success” lesson functions.

I found this piano to be very easy to use, affordable and with quality sounds that come in variety. The piano has 61 key touch response keyboard that features 550 natural sound voices. I find the AUX feature present in this piano very helpful in helping me learn how to play some of my favorite songs since I can easily listen to the songs as I play. Another thing that you need to note about the Yamaha PSRE343 61-key portable keyboard is that it is like a virtual piano since you cannot turn off the touch feature.

If you are a piano teacher or you are a beginner in piano, this piano can be of great help to you in learning how to play a piano. The ease to use this piano may vary from one individual to another. Some people find it challenging to comfortably use all the features present in this piano while others find it easy and fun to use the piano. Prior to considering it difficult to use, take time with it or seek some assistance from someone who is more skilled and experienced in using the Yamaha PSRE343 61-key portable keyboard.
